When it comes to living a healthy and active lifestyle, the math is simple: small choices add up. Eat healthy, exercise regularly and take time to rest, and you'll be:

Stronger in spirit: People who live a healthy lifestyle report greater happiness and overall well-being compared to those who don't.

Stronger in mind: When you improve your health through exercise and a good diet, your mind is sharper, you feel less stress and feel more relaxed (you even get a better night's sleep)

Stronger in body: People who live healthy stay healthy throughout the course of their life. They are also generally experience less pain, fewer illnesses and can live independent lives well into their golden years.

At the Y, we understand that health begins at home. During each week of this challenge, you'll receive tips on building a healthy family home while practicing one element of the 5-2-1-0 (five fruits and vegetables, two hours or less screen time, one hour of physical activity, zero sugary beverages) healthy lifestyle formula.
