As the nation’s leading nonprofit dedicated to youth development, healthy living
and social responsibility, the Y is committed to giving everyone in our
community the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive, regardless of their
financial circumstances.
The Y is able to provide these opportunities thanks to supporters of the Open
Doors program. Open Doors provides financial assistance so deserving individuals
can belong to the Y and participate in programs and services that can nurture
their kid’s potential, help them improve their health and give back to their
community.
Last year, the YMCA of Middle Tennessee provided more than $14 million in
charitable subsidies and other forms of financial assistance to kids, adults and
seniors throughout Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky. Such assistance was
made possible thanks to generous contributions to the YMCA’s Annual Giving
Campaign.
